YJV/YJLV series XLPE insulated power cable is the backbone of modern underground power distribution. Cross-linked polyethylene insulation provides superior thermal aging, higher current-carrying capacity, and excellent dielectric performance compared to PVC. Available in copper (YJV) and aluminum (YJLV) conductor options, single-core and multi-core configurations, rated from 0.6/1 kV up to 35 kV.

Q.What is the difference between YJV and VV cable?
YJV uses XLPE insulation (rated 90°C), while VV uses PVC insulation (rated 70°C). YJV carries more current for the same cross-section, has better thermal aging, and is preferred for permanent underground installations. VV is lower cost and used in less demanding environments.
Q.Do you manufacture XLPE cable to IEC 60502?
Yes. We manufacture to IEC 60502-1 (low voltage) and IEC 60502-2 (medium voltage up to 35 kV), as well as GB/T 12706, BS 5467/6622, and other regional standards. Specify your project standard when requesting a quote.
Q.What voltage ratings are available?
Our XLPE cable range covers 0.6/1 kV, 3.6/6 kV, 6/10 kV, 8.7/15 kV, 12/20 kV, 18/30 kV, and 26/35 kV. Higher voltages available on project basis.
Q.Can I get XLPE cable with armour?
Yes. We offer steel tape armour (YJV22/YJLV22) for direct burial, and steel wire armour (YJV32/YJLV32) for vertical runs or areas with mechanical stress. Aluminium wire armour also available for weight-sensitive applications.
