Choosing the right conductor
Copper carries more current per mm² and suits dense loads and confined trays; aluminum is lighter and lower-cost for long overhead and distribution runs. For hot climates across the Middle East and Africa, correct de-rating for ambient temperature and burial depth matters as much as the raw cross-section — send us the site conditions and we size it for you.
Insulation, armour & standards
XLPE handles higher continuous temperatures than PVC and is the default for modern power distribution. Choose SWA/STA armour for direct burial and mechanical protection, and fire-resistant (IEC 60331) or LSZH construction for tunnels, high-rise and public buildings. We build to the exact standard your tender specifies — IEC, GB, BS or SANS — and state compliance in writing.
